Sleepover at PGP was awesome!!! PGP= Prince George's Park Residence at NUS. It was eat sleep drink talk glee repeat. Although it was only 2 days and 1 night I really did enjoy myself with them. On Sunday evening, I went for dinner at Seoul Garden with my family. The food was amazing and I was stuffed to the brim. My cousin Bryan and I were sharing past experiences of steamboat buffet and it was hilarious. My brother Tim and Bryan always target the meat and seafood especially the meat. ZOMG! BOYS! HAHAHA!!! Supposed to meet Leslie for a drinking session at Flaming Mangoes but he couldn't make it so we decided to catch a movie the next day. We watched Couples Retreat which was hilarious. I simply loved the movie especially the retreat concept and the venue of the place. I suppose it's somewhere in the Carribean or Maldives or Hawaiian island. It was simply breath-taking and stunning. If such a retreat exists in a place like this, I would go there with my future husband (:

It's been a week and much has certainly happened. I simply love birthdays and how coincidental is it that my 2 best friends' birthdays and mine all fall within the same month..well almost they are both november babies and I'm a december baby but we were all born in the same hospital and same year! Well coming back to birthdays, I've never planned a surprise birthday and I was about to pull it off on Jazreel Wong. The Queen of surprises. Did I succeed?!

Monday

I woke up this morning feeling absolutely great. I went to Aunty Irene's place for vocals and today's session was more of a morale session..she was encouraging me to be more expressive and emote more song more. She also related it to dance like how movements tell a story but at the same time facial expression plays a part. After vocals, I took the train from toa payoh to boon lay (jurong point) which was a "good" 1 hour 15 mins! Headed to icing room to buy and design Jazreel's cake. I left jurong point at 11.50am and decided to take a direct bus to Ngee Ann Poly instead of train followed by bus. Unknowingly that was the better option. Reached Ngee Ann Poly at about 12.45pm and met Shan Yao, Deborah and Suzanne at the atrium. Apparently Debs followed my loud voice..ha ha ha -.- Anyway we walked over to the convention centre, lit the candles. I walked over to the benches where she was and covered her eyes from the back. Meanwhile Suz and Debs were walking over with the cake..funniest thing Jaz was screaming "WTF! DEBORAH TAH!" Everyone was chuckling under their breath. Lo and behold, I let go of Jaz eyes and we all sang Happy Birthday and when Jaz saw me, she screamed which is so unlike the tom-boy I know..hahaha. After cutting the cake and chit chatting, Jaz Debs Suz Shan and myself drove to modesto's at Elizabeth Hotel. Jaz, Shan and myself shared 3 pizzas ( mushroom, salmon and meat) Suz had lasagne and Debs had this pasta thing which I can't remember but it was so awesome. We were all stuffed after that but it was around 4 plus so Debs and Shan went off while Jaz Suz and I walked around paragon and ion orchard. Crazy girls were urgent for the toilet but insisted on climbing all the way up for the nice toilets..I was practically bursting in my shorts but I guessed it paid off as the toilet was truly charming (: After much window shopping, Jaz left to novena to meet her family for dinner so Suz and I went to Taka's Orange Julius for coke float and browsing at the grocery shop. The wine selection was divine..yum yum yum! We decided to leave as I met my mom and brother for dinner to celebrate my birthday in advance and my brother's farewell to Sabah for Outward Bound Camp. Dinner was at Estons and food was good especially the wagyu..AMAZING!!! Went shopping and we bought lotsa movies as they were having a clearance sale. I bought Step Up 2, Make it Happen, John Tucker must die, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, The Hottie and the Nottie. After a long and wonderful day, home sweet home it was.

Tuesday

Stayed at home today and watched all the movies..yes ALL!! They were all good..no particular favourites nor rating in any order HAHA.

Wednesday

Continued watching some of the movies today like Harry Potter and Step Up. Around 3.30pm, I got ready for Ballet Class at Palais dance studio. Ballet was fun but it just proved I have much to catch up on in terms of technique and placement. After class, I met Uncle Luke at the void deck and had a good chat. Went home for dinner and Singapore Idol. I hope that Singapore would vote Tabitha and Sylvia to the finals as I think they are both truly deserving. In terms of winning the Singapore Idol title, I have seriously no clue who's gonna win as I think they are both amazing.

Thursday

Vocal class was different today as I sang into the michrophone. It's so different and weird to hear my own voice but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Aunty Irene also gave me a gift for my birthday and that was the minus 1 track of "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. The lyrics are meaningful and i feel the song has a great tune to it too. Once again, I relaxed at home and watched tv the whole day.

Friday

Sleepover till sunday at Mel's hostel to celebrate all 3 of our birthdays. I can't wait as I know it'll be crazy Crazy CRAZY!!! Mommy is simply amazing..she gave me a pair of flower earrings, a top, bucks for my sleepover with the girls, dinner at Seoul Garden, Lunch at Manhanttan Fish Market, massage and intends to give more!! The earrings are simply stunning as they are so me and the 2 piece top is not really me but somehow I managed to pull it off and now it's one of my favourite tops HAHA! aiyoh mommy..it truly is more than enough. Updates when I return home.
