Open Mic Night was awesome yesterday. There was a range of performances from fun to heartfelt to entertaining and genres from pop to rnb to rock. What a talented bunch of friends I have. Kudos to Sameer and Henry as well for an awesome job at emcee-ing. Well I really needed yesterday as it has been rough for me the past few days. Thanks for cheering me up in your own different ways guys :) I can't wait for later as the gang and I will be heading down to Mediacorp for the live recording of OMG aka One Moment of Glory. Well well i don't really feel like typing much now.

much much has happened in 3 weeks. good bad happy and sad. im glad things turned out well and will continue that way :)

I can't wait for rehearsals this sat..it's been awhile since I've been there and full out too. Open Mic night is gonna be interesting too..absolutely can't wait for everyone to perform.

To add to my misery of chronic pain and what not, a series of unfortunate events occurred to me.

Firstly, I had major high fever which knocked me out for 12 hours..12 HOURS!!!
Secondly, as most of you should know by now..I won a pair of tickets to and a SingFest (3rd Aug)meet & greet session with Katy Perry. It was the most awesome thing ever because the line up for that day was Katy Perry, Tokio Hotel, Wonder Girls, Orianthi and the Like. However however however I didn't receive the news in time..I was some 24hours late due to a series of unfortunate events. Well to begin with, I never thought I would win it because the dateline for the competition was 27th July 23:59 whereas I registered for the competition on 28th July around 2pm. Under the term & conditions, it said that any late entries will not be entertained. When I was registering for the competition and filling up contact details, I was asked to choose to meet the artist of my choice...after much dilemma I chose the one and only KATY PERRY!!! Once again, under the t&c, it said that if the artist of my choice is not available, they would have a substitute. Hence when I won both tix and katy perry, I was stunned beyond words and literally rooted to my spot. AXN emailed my winnings last friday at 4pm but I didn't read my email on friday as I was at yog rehearsal the whole day. Saturday was spent at Peter Pan rehearsals followed by Alicia and Brendan's 20th bbq and Sunday was spent with Saras and Colin at the CC having dance practice. My whole weekend was completely burned. So anyway I received 5 missed calls from an unknown number on Monday..if it were a spam or survey nobody would call back 5 times in a day. Hence I thought it was a really important person and I tried calling back but to no avail as the line was always busy or I got cut off or worse..put on hold and never being entertained for a long period of time. RAHS! I was supposed to return to them by 2pm to give them details of my guest and they were to give me details on the concert. Oh wells, I only read the mail on Wednesday morning so yeah..cried like a baby..
On a brighter note, the dance performance on sunday is drawing near and I'm really excited as I think we have come a long way..long long way to go to perfection but we are doing well. we just really really need to practice practice practice :D Accompanied Prabs and Colin for their interviews yesterday and while waiting, I found a skirt which I really loved and it so so so suited the theme of our dance item. I was so psyched I just had to get it..I can imagine the whole ensemble of my costume, can't wait for the rest of the team to see it :) Well I bet all of us would look great together as well..the guys are gonna look goofy and the girls cutesy but who cares we all look good. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I can't wait for dance :D :D

For the past few months, I have been feeling major chest pains whenever I wake up..it is impossible for me to stretch because the center of my chest just hurts so bad. I thought it was a muscle pull but it's the bone that hurts..I went to the doctor and the first time, the doctor said she didn't know what was wrong with me. She said it's nothing serious and I should just take painkillers. Of course! I wasn't going to accept that, I'm not gonna take medication to cure my pain temporarily. I want to cure the problem! Hence I visited another doctor and he told me that my chest tissue and cartilage and something were all inflammed..there's some medical term for it but I can't remember what it's called. To my greatest surprise, the doctor gave me the same medication as the previous doctor. I didn't even know how to react man..like how can he have figured what was wrong with me and give me the same damn medication. ARGH!!! Total waste of my money..well at least I know what's wrong with me I guess.

2 days ago, I was completely relieved and happy that YOG rehearsal was cancelled. All of us have been rehearsing and heading down to the floating platform every other weekday and weekend and we're all exhausted. I have also been missing a lot of Peter Pan rehearsals because of YOG rehearsals hence I headed down to the CC..I met jaz and we did some catching up. Rehearsals ended early so we just hng around loner..I was so hungry already so I bought ananas for lunch..awesome yummy food :D :D The boys went over to Saras's place to hang out while Naathan, Saras, James, Henry, Kanitha and myself went home as so i thought. Everybody went to Aston's for lunch while Kanitha and I went back..met Prabs and went back to Sembawang shopping centre for awhile and then went back to yishun. Gosh! I remember taking the 980bus 3 times in that 1 hour. Anyway..they went to game while I went back to rest for awhile before meeting jaz for Brendan's bbq. Around 7.30, I met kc and jaz at yishun mrt and we drove down to sembawang for the bbg. The fire took a damn long time to start thanks to the wonderful charcoal but all in all it was a great night spent. We had loads of food such as fried rice, sausages, crab sticks, otah, sambal stingway, chicken wings, chips, marshmallows and last of all the drinks :) I was completely stuffed by the end of the night I swear. The best part of it all wasn't the food but the company..it was a mini IJ reunion as Ali invited some of her friends too..we were exchanging loads of stories when we were in IJ and the life after IJ and just so much more..it was so damn entertaining and fun. Thanks for that wonderful night girls :D

Yesterday was a mentally exhausting day cos Saras, Colin and I met up at the CC for dance practice. Naathan and Prabs tagged along as they were bored at home and love us so much they just had to see our lovely faces. Anyway dance practice was good cos we came up with costume ideas, how to start and end the dance and we have an element of surprise in the dance :) we also came up with new choreography and formations..only 10 more eights to go and we are done....then it's polish Polish POLISH!!! We have exactly 6 days to go so it's really stressful and scary but I'm sure we'll be able to pull it off. GO TEAM!! Oh crap..we still haven't figured out our team name yet..ahhhh!!! ideas anybody?!?!?!
