I was so excited to go for ballet class but lo and behold traffic had to await me. The bus journey from Dhoby Ghaut station to Bukit Timah shopping centre usually takes about 45mins but today it took 2 HOURS!!! Just the bus journey alone took that long, if I include walking and waiting time, that would have amounted to 2 and a half hours. AHHHH!!!! I have never taken so long to travel around Singapore all my life. This was simply ridiculous. I left school at 5.15pm and reached bukit timah shopping centre at 7.45pm so I couldn't go for class cos by the time I changed, tied my hair and entered the studio, I would only be left with 15mins of class!!! No dance teacher would ever let a student in after 5 mins what more an hour. Sighs..anywhoos I still had to stay in the 171 which would take me back to Yishun. I can't believe this means it would have taken me 3 and a half hours instead of an hour to go from Dhoby Ghaut to Yishun. To add to all the drama, my phone died on me so I had no way of contacting the dance station, mommy, prabs, jaz or mel!!!! I felt so naked but thankfully I had my laptop with me and I decided to start blogging. I was browsing through old photos and videos and I found a poem which a friend wrote to me a long time ago and this is how it goes...

There is a girl whose name is nicole
The sight of her makes me warm like a freshly baked swiss roll

She dances like a princess
which sometimes makes other girls depress

She always has this smile that makes her look like miss smiley
but truly
that makes her lovely

I think i'm a complete fool
because i look like one of those poor dogs that always drool

She makes u go ooh la la
but hey i'm just a fella
and it is normal for me to go bananas

She lively and bright like a sun flower
and makes all your darkness run for cover

If there were a way i would make her mine
till the end of time

For God had a reason for her to be born
so that i will get to know a beautiful person before i was gone

And i thank the Lord all the way
without knowing her i would have lost my way.

Mhmmmms. That definitely brought a smile to my face. Well thanks for that my dearest friend and i hope you've found your bright shining star :)

Oh gosh! It's 9.30pm now and I'm finally home, in the comfort of my own bed..
